About Karen

I have lived in West Chester my whole life, and I am aware of how strong my community is. Despite not living anywhere else besides West Chester, I have traveled to: Canada, Haiti, Bahamas, France, and Greece. For my future plans, I plan to teach English abroad to earn more experience in the education field. I see myself as: Joyous Optimist Attentive I like tutoring because seeing the light bulb go off is what motivates me to have them love learning. I'm looking for a job that challenges me because I believe the harder the challenge, the higher the reward and gratification. I started tutoring when I was in college because I took part in organizations that encouraged us to share our skills and strengths. In my spare time, I like to read, write and exercise. One thing you should know about me is I can also help craft resumes for success and I love to edit papers. Not only that, but I am a good listener. My skills include: contextualization, organization and research.
