About Karen

I am a 50-year-old caregiver, have been married for over 24 years & a stay at home mom for the last 16 years. My hubby & I own our own home & car in Saratoga County. For two decades I have cared for my family, my home, my yard & our pets. For the past 3 years we have also cared for my mother with Alzheimer's, but recently she has moved in to a nursing home. My teenage sons were diagnosed with Autism/ADHD. I also have another son (28) who is all grown up, married, & out on his own now. My hubby also has ADHD in addition to being a stroke survivor (at 40 years old). All these unique differences in my family has created the well rounded person I am today. In my previous career life I worked for a large insurance company as a personal lines underwriter. I left my job to become a full time stay at home mom to my boys. Now that my boys are growing up I have realized I do not wish to return to a corporate life & feel I can offer a helping hand to other families where needed. Take care!
