About Karen

Hello, I am new here and excited to be on Care. My name is Karen and I know my calling from God is working and caring for children. My job is to make the parents life a little less stressful . Last summer I worked for a family in Dix Hills caring for their three active sons. I also made them breakfast and did light housekeeping. I am also experienced with working with behavioral and special needs children. At present I am working in a school for behavioral and special needs for the past 12 yrs. I enjoy and love what I do!!!! I feel that every child needs to be given the opportunity to be loved in a caring environment. My goal is to see that their needs are met as well as bringing joy and laughter to them. Now that 2 of my boys are in college and my daughter is a senior I have a little more time on my hands. This is just who I am and what I do!!! My motto is I want to treat others how I would want to be treated or my family!!!
