About Karen

I am a mom of 4, 2 are special needs. I have cared for kids/elderly since I was 16. I love using humor & a positive attitude, as well as my natural nurturing tendencies to be a good listener and caregiver. I'd describe my personality as caring, empathic, & patient. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy listening to the stories & wisdom they have to share and I just naturally bond with elderly people. I am patient and will give gentle attention. I'm looking for a job that allows me to care between the hours of 6 p.m. - 7 a.m. I started caring for seniors when I was 16. In my spare time, I like to read, fish, travel and spend time with my kids. One thing you should know about me is I pride myself on my reliability, and I am never late. My skills include cleaning, organizing, bathing etc. I am not the best cook though, ask my kids.
