About Karen

I'd describe my personality as fun, trustworthy and reliable. I like working with kids because they are our future, and we owe it to them as parents to be as prepared for Life as possible! I'm looking for a job where I can have fun with kids and help their parents at the same time. I love to be outdoors, do crafts with kids, take them to fun places, build memories, take pictures, help with homework, and help them enjoy their childhood! (I will not sit around on my phone all day.) I started working with kids when I was a teenager, babysitting for 5 families in my neighborhood. I worked as a Lead Teacher in Children's ministries in my church for 35 years. I raised two children of my own. Since retiring from Education in 2021, I have been a nanny through Care. com for several wonderful families.
