About Kara

Hi! My name is Kara, and I have 11 years of experience working with children. My journey in childcare began in 2013 at a Montessori school. In 2017, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. Following my graduation, I taught kindergarten, first, and third grade in Bourbon County. These roles equipped me with a deep understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. In addition to my classroom experience, I have enjoyed several summers as a nanny, caring for children aged 5-12. My approach is centered on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can have fun, be creative, and thrive. In addition to babysitting, I am also happy to offer assistance with schoolwork and provide tutoring. I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of the children I care for and look forward to bringing my dedication and expertise to your family.
