About Kara

I may be 20 years old but I have spent most of it caregiving. It has always been my passion. Not only the medical and professional aspects of it all. It's the joy, the laughter, the trust, the friendships and the vulnerability of the people I care for that fills my heart with joy and warmth. I believe this is what I was put on this earth to do. I had cared for my grandmother for about 8 years until she passed away. I moved into a new neighborhood and that Christmas I made cookies for the older woman next door and became her caregiver but most importantly her friend. I've worked in schools and daycares. Long story short I am genuinely passionate about what I do and I can't wait to see what lies ahead.
