About Kamryn

Hi! I recently graduated college with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing! I am home in Honolulu, HI until I start my nursing job in the mainland in a few months. I thought in the meantime babysitting could be a great opportunity to work with kids and gain more experience, especially because I am pursing pediatric registered nurse residency programs. I am BLS (CPR & AED) certified and recently passed my Nursing Boards so I am officially a Registered Nurse. I like working with kids because of my past experiences volunteering in the pediatric playroom at Kapiolani Medical Center when I was a high schooler and my pediatric clinical rotations in nursing school. I did 10 12-hour night shifts on the Pediatric Oncology & Hematology Inpatient Unit for my senior practicum. A senior practicum is a capstone/preceptorship a student does with a Registered Nurse at the end of their nursing school education on the unit of their top choice.
