I like caring for seniors because I will be one too one day, sooner than I think! We must care for each other! Especially when they cared for us! I'm looking for a job that satisfies my desire to help others and do my job wholeheartedly. Yet not worry about making ends meet. I officially started caring for seniors when I was 19 years old! But it goes back to me being a toddler and following my gramma house to house being an in home caregiver. In my spare time, I like to dabble in paint! Play with my grand daughter! Take my daughters to do what they want--usually eat. Lol. Excited to see how my garden grows this year! One thing you should know about me is I care a lot. I try not to be shy & I try to survey the room, get a feel! I'm pretty outgoing and try to make my patient feel special, even if words fail. My skills include listening. Assessing; ER nurse for over 10 years. Patience; we tend to slow our roll as we age!
