About Kalala

My caregiving experience includes 4 years working in a special care unit specifically with residents with severe dementia and many of the residents I cared for were holocaust survivors. I moved to America and transitioned my career into tech where I spent the past 7 years recruiting in tech. Although my career was no longer in caregiving, my empathetic and caring nature were strengths highlighted throughout my career. Recently, I was a part of the mass layoff in tech and due to the challenges of the market, I am seeking opportunities in this field. If I had the option, this would be something I would do during my spare time vs it being a job bc I do enjoy being of service to others, especially working with our elders who are full of life experiences, wisdom and learning from them as well. I am a great companion and caregiver.
