About Kaitlynn

Hi my name is Kaitlynn, but I usually go by Katie. I am 21 years old and a junior at Texas Tech University studying Kinesiology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I plan to become a pediatric occupational therapist. I have worked in a daycare for about 2 years where I have learned various skills such as, basic care of children, ways children learn best, how to deal with challenging behaviors, and communicating needs/wants to parents. I am also currently CPR certified. I was promoted from assistant to a lead teacher in the toddler room (14 months to 24 months), however, I have worked with 6 weeks to 24 months regularly, and 2 years to school age occasionally. I am comfortable with pets, and have my own transportation. I, also, have a son who is 20 months he is well behaved and loves to play with other children.
