About Kaitlyn

"Play is really the work of childhood." This is one of my favorite quotes because I sincerely believe it to be true. Childhood, especially early childhood, should be a time of play and discovery and fun and exploration. As both a parent and childcare provider, my goal is to ensure children have fun and learn without pressure - singing songs to learn body parts, using puzzles to practice matching, dropping cups from the high chair over and over and over and over again to learn about gravity (lol), and playing peek-a-boo to learn about object permanence, just to name a few examples. Child development is a passion of mine and I love finding activities and games to help foster whatever stage of development a child is in. I have a daughter born May 2019 who is my entire world, as well as two dogs and a cat.
