About Kaitlyn

I have ample experience with senior care. I moved in with my grandparents when their health started to fail and supported them through dementia and cancer treatments. I found a passion in that new life reality for helping others, especially the elderly in their final chapter of life. I found employment while completing my undergraduate degree at an assisted living facility as a caregiver. I worked full time and finished my graduate program. Even after graduation, I stayed PRN to help my residents and coworkers during the craziness that was Covid. Once I knew I could no longer feasibly work there with my full time career, I became a volunteer at the network and with Hospice as well. I have been a caregiver, a companion, a grocery shopper, whatever was needed. I am relocating to Florida this year to be closer to family. My career I worked so hard for does not bring me the same joy that caring for the residents did.
