About Kaia

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, personable, empathetic. I like working with kids because they are super energetic and imaginative! I'm looking for a job that I can help the kid(s) grow and become the best possible versions of themselves. I want your kids to look back and think, I had such an amazing caregiver growing up! I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. A neighbor down the street referred me to another family of two, and then one family I was with for about 2 years I met while out to dinner with my family. I was then referred to two other family's! Over the years I've worked with kids as young as 11 months, and as old as 12 years! In my spare time, I like to read, paint, go to the beach, watch movies, cook and bake! One thing you should know about me, I'm attending school to get my BA in child developmental psychology. I have worked closely with kids on the spectrum for 4 years! My skills include problem solving, de-escalation, never getting bored!
