About Julie

I am writing this letter at the request of our nanny, Julie S. We hired Julie in February of 2012, and although our kids are getting older and we don't need as much help as we used to, she still cares for our children when we have the need. At the time when we hired Julie, our boys were 7, 3 and 2. Julie is responsible not only for the care of our children but also for transporting them in her car, making sure they get to their activities, and cooking dinner for our family (and let me tell you, she's one great cook). We have known Julie for many years and were excited to hear she was looking for a nanny position. We feel that her values line up with ours. She emphasizes the importance of keeping kids active and engaged rather than turning on the TV for them all day. Many times we come home to her reading to our children or helping with homework. Our kids always have fun with Julie and look forward to her coming over. Julie has a good time with the kids, but also knows when it's time to keep them in check. We feel that she is a great influence for our kids in our absence. Julie is also a good communicator and easy to talk with. She is punctual and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond for our family, doing things like taking them to a surprise day at the water park or out to lunch. I always feel comfortable when our children are in her care. I have no reservations recommending Julie S. for a nanny position. I believe she will be flexible to meet your needs as she is with our family.
