About Julie

I'd describe my personality as friendly, calm, and kind. I enjoy caring for seniors because a close friend was diagnosed 10 years ago with a neurological disease. I have cared for him and would like to use the experiences and lessons learned to help others in similar situations. I'm looking for a job that enables me to preform tasks that help an individual feel safe, respected and cared about. I enjoy making others comfortable and happy. I started caring for seniors when I learned the difficulties my friend endured as he lost some of the physical abilities we all take for granted. I learned to assist him while allowing him to feel independent and respected. It is a skill I am proud of. In my spare time, I like to be with my family and friends, travel, paint, crochet and read. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely accepting of many types of personalities. I am easy going and do not take most things personally.
