About Julie

I am a public defender in Denver, meaning I represent indigent individuals accused of crimes of in Colorado. In law school, I worked in a clinic representing indigent students in school disciplinary proceedings so professionally, I've worked with kids in many tough situations. I also worked as a nanny the summer before law school for a family with a one and 3-year-old. I babysat regularly in high school and worked as a summer camp counselor, drama camp counselor (helping kids out on a musical), and kids swim instructor. After law school, I clerked for a Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals judge in Bloomington, Indiana. My co clerk has three kids then aged three, six, and nine. I spent a lot of time with their family and keep in really good touch with the kids still :) I love and can probably quote most Disney/Pixar movies and love games designed for just about any age bracket--from matching colors to mahjong tiles.
