About Julie

I have been caring for children since I was 11 years old and always knew I wanted to become a teacher. I retired in June 2023, after teaching young children with and without special needs for 39 years. I have a masters degree in special education and early childhood education. I miss teaching- I miss my children so much. I am a single mom to my 19-year-old son, who is a freshman at University. I would like to do childcare to help with college payments. Currently, I am working with a 4-year-old boy in the late afternoons. We love to play pretend, various games, go to all the area parks, arts and crafts, and cooking. He is a big fan of our adventure Friday. I am a fun-loving 61-year-old who can help parents as well with child development and parenting questions.
