About Julia

Hello! My earliest and favorite memories are of romping around in the yard with my grandpa. He would have us collect seeds that fell from a neighbor's tree and would pay us a penny for every one we collected. The trick was that we would have to sort them into groups of three or fours etc and count them that way. So at 5 years old I was learning multiplication and good work ethics, but in my mind I was just having fun. I share this memory because it illustrates so many of my core values: love, learning, family, hard work, creativity, and fun. I try to embody these values in everything I do. I love working with children; nurturing their curiosity and sense of exploration by turning everyday chores into games and adventures. I believe in healthy boundaries, but think the best way to establish these is through positive reinforcement :) I look forward to meeting a family that I can establish a long term relationship with while providing loving care.
