About Julia

Paraprofessional for ISD 622 (Teachers On Call), Luther College 2023, North High 2019 Hi, I'm Julia! I'm a 23-year-old substitute Paraprofessional. I have experience with preschool - 8th grade, but typically work with ages 6-10 Special Education (ASD). Additionally, I have spent several summers babysitting and long term nannying children ages 20 months - 4 years. I love working with children and would love to continue working in child care while school is out for summer!! I'd describe my personality as flexible, fun, and caring. I lead with positivity and empathy! I like working with kids because I love seeing them discover the world around them. It's so fun to show children new things, watch them learn new skills, and play a part in creating a fun and memorable childhood! On the hard days, I find that compassion and support can turn things around! In my spare time, I like to read, craft (scrapbooking, knitting), run, and spend time outside with my family and friends.
