About Julia

My name is Julia and I am a graduate student at Cornell in the Masters in Public Health program. I have a strong passion for the community and access to all of the resources associated with health and well-being. Prior to going back to school, I worked as a patient care technician on a vascular surgery floor. My unit also turned into a COVID-ICU. During this time, I also worked part time as a care taker for a lovely elderly woman with dementia. I managed her medications, did light house work, took her to appointments, took her on outings, went grocery shopping with her, and overall made sure her wants and needs were always fulfilled and that every day we spent together was filled with love and stimulation. I also have extensive experience babysitting children of all ages and love playing, arts and crafts, being silly, and also helping with homework and making learning fun.
