About Julia

I am a creative, active and responsible mother of three(ages 21, 19 and 14), with 10+ years of childcare and preschool teaching experience and 10+ years of counseling experience with families(in-home and school based work). I am a licensed family therapist, but enjoy working with the children in the childcare/preschool environment since my own children are grown. It is important to view the "whole" child", helping him develop physically, mentally and socially with his own unique personality and strengths. I create an indoor/outdoor schedule so the child has a healthy balance of active and quiet time. Consistency, positive support and clear guidelines help children to thrive both at home and in the school setting. I would enjoy sharing my experience with a family, helping them to develop secure and happy children. My CPR/first aid training and vaccines are current and my background is fully checked through Trustline. I look forward to being the "right fit" for a family.
