About Julia

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, patient, and optimistic. I like working with kids because of their curiosity towards the world, their desire to learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my background in occupational therapy. I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. I work part time in my field. However, I miss nannying. I would love to work privately with a family where I can help a child reach developmental milestones, encourage independence, and create an environment that promotes learning and creativity. I have been working with children since I was a child myself! I have a lot of experience with all ages and with the special needs population. I have been a professional nanny to two wonderful families, worked with Special Olympics and the YMCA for many years, worked as a camp counselor, and ultimately earned my degree to continue working with children. In my spare time, I like to cook, workout, paint, spend time with family and friends.
