About Julia

I'd describe my personality as passionate, imaginative, and joyful. I like working with kids because of their imagination and sense of creativity. I tend to feel the happiest with kids because they remind me to not care what others think and to simply live. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I live in a neighborhood with a lot of younger children and been babysitting as soon as I was able. I also worked at a campground for 5 years in the recreation department where I ran various activities for children such as sports and arts and crafts. In my spare time, I like to read and hike. I grew up in New Paltz and for my entire life have taken advantage of the wonderful area that I live in. I love getting outdoors to hike or just walk around the town. I am an avid reader, and spend a lot of my free time reading or writing.
