About Julia

My name is Julia and I am excited to be joining Care. com. I am from San Diego and just graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in Media Studies and Middle East Studies. I love storytelling, eating good food, dancing, and watching great films. Being with my family is where I am most comfortable and happy. I also love being around kiddos! I grew up watching my younger cousins and was always baby sitting my best friend's little brother. He was about 14 years younger than us and I would say with him was the first real babysitting experience I had. My experiences with him were positive mostly however I did have my challenges at times. I loved playing make believe with him and asking him questions about how he viewed the world around him. I also have experience baby sitting and teaching little ones Irish Dance at my old Irish Dancing school, the children I supervised and taught ranged from age 3 to age 14.
