About Jude

I have professional experience as a substitute teacher (K-12) and former assistant teacher for 2nd graders. In each position, I attempted to maintain a comfortable learning space for students through open, honest, and respectful communication. I tried to adapt to new spaces, each with unique, nuanced expectations, to preserve a seamless learning environment. Since I didn't want my presence to be disruptive, I came in with the mindset that I was new; if I wanted lessons to be fruitful, I had to get on the same page as the children and recognize that, ultimately, I am a visitor in their space.
