About Jourdan

I'd describe my personality as curious and creative! I enjoy working with kids because they remind me to enjoy the mundane life activities. I'm looking for a job that creates some time structure in my week and that is productive and helpful. I started working with kids when I was really young. I grew up either many younger siblings, then later, volunteered in the church daycare (only partially to avoid the sermon) working with the babies and toddlers. The summers I spent time back home I helped out at my older sisters daycare, that she runs, and helped with getting my niece to her school and after school activities. My skills include communication, patience, and organization. I strive to encourage calm communication spaces, emotional intelligence and acceptance, and kindness all around. One thing you should know about me is I refuse to work with punishment systems, as I believe positive reinforcement is healthiest and I am most familiar with that.
