About Joshua

I am a full-time Direct Support Professional at the non-profit special education center SOAR365. I am an Eagle Scout who spent my youth giving back to the community and caring for others. I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020. While at VCU, I volunteered for St. Joseph's Villa and learned how rewarding it is to work with the special education and underprivileged students. I assisted class instruction in the Sarah Dooley Center for Autism and developed essential skills such as adaptability and perseverance, needed to positively affect students. I have over four years of experience pet-sitting and take care of adults with disabilities daily at SOAR365. My duties include feeding, teaching, changing, cleaning/bathing, and entertaining! I look forward to get to know your loved ones and use my years of caretaker experience. I am certified in medication administration, CPR, First Aid, and TOVA.
