About Joshua

I'd describe my personality as bubbly , nurturing and compassionate. I like working with kids because children are filled with joy and a desire to learn/explore. Helping and guiding younger folk into become their best selves is a blessing. I'm looking for a job that can be flexible, open minded, and reasonable working conditions/ expectations. I started working with kids when I was in college getting my Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I started as a preschool teacher's assistant. In my spare time, I like to sing, make music, read, watch television, garden and spend time with my family pets. One thing you should know about me is I have intermediate Spanish skills and I have worked the past 3 years as a Preschool teacher and prior to that I was a Program Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club in Montevallo. My skills include empathetic listening, creating developmentally enriching activities, and strong amounts of compassion.
