About Josephine

I am a retired medical technologist. I worked at Fairfax Hospital for 25 years before I retired. I cared for my granddaughter for the first year of her life and then they moved out of state . I am currently taking care of an 10month-old and 5-year-old Mondays and Fridays. I also take care of another 5-year-old girl the remaining 3 days. When she starts kindergarten in the fall, I will be looking for another job. I prefer taking care of babies from birth to a year old but I have experience with toddlers and young school aged children. I taught my granddaughter baby sign language and she was able to communicate much easier because of it. The second baby I baby-sat also learned sign language. I love cuddling little babies. My ideal job would be baby sitting for 20-30 hours a week. I like to work closer to home because I don't want to spend a lot of time in traffic. I took a CPR and the first aid course and am certified for CPR with Adults, Children and Infants.
