About Joseph

I am the second oldest of 6 kids and was active in helping with child care growing up. I also raised 2 daughters (now 24&20) including frequent short stretches doing it alone as their mom works as a film and tv actress. Also was an athlete and worked with kids for many years in camp type settings. I'd describe my personality as friendly, open minded, kind. I like working with kids because their appreciation for innocent and clear perspective and their curiosity. I'm looking for a job where my personality and experience can make a positive impact on young people. I started working with kids when I was a teenager and in college mostly through sports camps. In my spare time, I like to write and read and exercise and also go on long walks with my dog. One thing you should know about me is that I have a good sense of humor and I think I am down to earth. My skills include patience, humor, encouragement.
