About Joseph

I have over 20 years experience as an educator. I am classically trained and have worked with middle schoolers as well as university seminars. I have taught at top universities and small private schools. I am semi- retired now and miss teaching. I believe deeply in joyful learning self discovery. There are few positions where you give everything you have away and yet receive it back from your students in such creative ways. My favorite moment is the incandescent "ah hah" when a student feels empowered to self discovery. Teaching writing is my passion, but I am skilled in multiple learning methods and topics.
