About Jorie

I'm Jorie! I live with my husband, stepdaughter, & pets in Janesville. I'm an elementary educator with over 10 years experience in teaching, nannying, daycare, and respite care. In my free time, I camp, garden, and sing. I'm seeking a summertime position (20-40 hours/wk). I enjoy indoor activities with children, such as imaginary play, arts/crafts, making music, reading, etc. while developing milestones. I have basic level Spanish and Sign Language skills, which I incorporate into my childcare. I like taking children outside for walks, going to the park, swimming, sports, etc. I'm happy to take children to community spaces such as libraries, museums, zoos, art/music classes, open gyms, etc. My passion in nannying is to contribute to the raising of well-rounded children, taking into consideration social/emotional, physical, & cognitive needs.
