I have provided care for 8 families I met through Care. com, and I have babysat for several other families as well. Prior to working privately with families, I spent 3 years working in preschools. I am comfortable caring for children as young as 4 months old. I also have a lot of experience with school age children. I have a deep love for all children, I love to help them grow, learn, and explore the world around them. I have an Associate of Arts degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College as well as over 60 hours of ECC training. I love nature & being outside. I love taking children to safe & fun outdoor places to explore. I also love arts & crafts. I'm a very creative person. I love singing & dancing. Music & songs are tools I love use to use to help children learn in a fun way.

I initially hired Jordy for occasional child-care and when she really helped my 6 year old be so much more balanced when it comes to school to home transitions instead of having to decompress and throw off our nighttime routines. She is great to have in the summer and always gets my son in a calm and cheerful mood after being around her. She was the best at helping us when Sage needed extra speech practice and I didn't have it in me to do worksheets, even taking the time to use methods that helped him without making it dreadful. She always got him to his extracurricular activities on time and would practice his break dance moves, so she was engaged in what my child's specific needs were. We moved to another state but I would recommend her, it's hard to find people with as much intent and who can do things the way you need done.
