I have been working in long term care and assisted living facilities for just under 6 years now. I have had the opportunity to travel with an agency and care for many different people with many different ages and diagnosis. I love caring for others and have discovered within myself that working in a large facility setting is no longer for me. I would prefer to be more one on one with those that I care for, versus having to divide my attention and care to almost 20 or more people.
