About Jonathan

Hi! My name is Jonathan and I'm a current student at Swarthmore College. I'm a Computer Science and Math major, but love English Literature and Spanish as well. I have experience tutoring across a variety of subjects and age groups, and I believe my passion for learning and problem solving makes me a great fit for all ages. A few things about me are that I play varsity collegiate basketball at the D3 level, I'm currently writing a book, and my favorite hobbies are skateboarding, Magic the Gathering, video games, and pickleball. I like tutoring because I have a passion for learning that I love to share with others. Every student learns differently, and sometimes a teaching style or subject just won't click for them. I believe this should never ruin the joy of learning for a child, and I know my infectious energy and individual instruction can give them the extra boost they need to succeed in the classroom -- and enjoy it along the way!
