About Johnna

Hi! My name is Johnna and I am new to the state of Maryland! My family and I transitioned here last year when my husband left police work to pursue a career in the military. I currently hold a master's degree in social work and have completed the 3. 5 years necessary to obtain my clinical license. However, plans changed when my sweet son was born! I am now a stay at home mom to a 15-month-old and hope to use my skills to provide care for a family in need! My background in childcare spans many years. As a young person, I was constantly nurturing my cousins and younger family members and when I was old enough, I began caring for various families in need. I've cared for newborns, busy toddlers and even teenagers! I've been the head teacher at a daycare facility! As a mother, I know how tender it is to leave your child in someone else's care. It would be my joy to provide a safe, nurturing environment for your child and an approachable and reliable relationship for you as their parent!
