About John

I have had the opportunity to teach and tutor a large number of diverse students at various levels of mathematics and science. I have been tutoring since high school and strongly believe in helping those who need support. My background and experience include an undergraduate BS engineering education at West Point and an electrical engineering graduate MSEE education at the University of Michigan. This was followed by a career as a telecommunications engineer, a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, a system engineer and manager in defense industry at GTE Corporation, and lastly, middle school, high school and college level teaching experience in various grade levels at different school communities in the Massachusetts area. All these positions and know-how enrich me with a special insight into going the extra mile to help students understand mathematics and its significance in the practical everyday events of their lives.
