About Joelle

My name is Joelle and I am a NY based professional dancer. I graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a B. A. in Dance, Cum Laude. When I am not performing or choreographing, I teach dance classes to young ones and edit academic and grant writing (I also direct the summer program at the Tisch School, NYU, each July). I have ample caretaking experience, largely with young ones (6mo-13yo, references avail. upon request). I have a lot of fun spending time with young people, and they tend to have an easy time opening up to me. I am leaving NY for Paris in October on a Fulbright Scholarship:) I am patient, silly, energetic and an exceptionally clear communicator. I possess a drivers license, and am fully vaccinated. I speak some Spanish (native) and French (studying!). My family has long called the UWS home and its my favorite place in the world. (My hair is short right now, I'm growing out a pixie cut:)
