Hello my name is Jodie I love caring for the elderly. It's something I have loved since a very young age. I know that I can - Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to elderly clients, including those with dementia and Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. - Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. - Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and maintained accurate records. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences. - Conduct any and all housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. - Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques to ensure client safety. - Run errands, including grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and accompanying clients to medical appointments. - Engage in active listening to what they're thinking and feeling. Most importantly is making sure that they feel safe and secure.
