I would give zero stars if that were an option. We provided Jocelyne with the details of the job and chatted via the site. We then scheduled a phone interview. She was well-spoken and the conversation went well. She selected a date and time that worked with her schedule to meet our mother in-person (Friday, April 5) and she also followed up the evening before for the exact address. A half hour before our scheduled meeting time I received a text stating that she was having issues with her car battery and won't be able to make it and asked if it was possible to reschedule for Saturday or Sunday. Mind you, I took time off from work and drove over 45 minutes to meet with Jocelyne and my mother who already has a hard enough time getting herself dressed and presentable due to her handicap spent half the day getting herself ready and prepared to meet Jocelyne. Yes, I was annoyed, but I do know that unexpected things happen and decided to give it another try. I asked her if Sunday at 1pm would work and she agreed to the new time. Again, Sunday I drove back to my mother's house over 40 minutes away, my mother got herself up and dressed and we waited for Jocelyne to arrive. I sent her with details of where she could park via text. She did not acknowledge it. Ten minutes after our scheduled meeting time, I text her asking if she was still coming and she did not reply. My brother called her and she did not answer the phone. He text her and she didn't reply. Why would Jocelyne waste everyone's time? It is very inconsiderate to do this two times to a handicapped person who needs help and is struggling. Jocelyne is obviously not a very responsible or reliable person and certainly shouId not be counted on to care for anyone especially someone in such a vulnerable position. Lastly, I purposely did not give Jocelyne the address of the house until right before the meeting for safety reasons. In fact, Jocelyne reached out to me for the address. This is concerning considering Jocelyne knows the dynamic of the household and lives and works close by. I am really hoping that this isn't some type of con of an elderly handicap woman.
