About Joan

Joan has been an integral part of our children's development (ages 3.5 years and 11 months). She is both a leader and partner for us, bringing her childcare expertise to her choices of activities. This is most visible in the way the baby has developed both physically and socially during her time with Joanie. She naturally engages with the baby, talking to her, teaching her sign language, and playing at her level. She works with our 3.5 year old to learn letters and improve her counting. Joanie is one of the most thoughtful people we have worked with. She communicates well, sending us pictures and updates during the day. She is kind, extremely reliable, and it is clear that she loves working with children. I don't know anyone who is more patient and flexible. She is a joy to be around and work with. I can't say enough positive things about working with Joanie and her prior employers will vouch for this as well (she has excellent references).
