About Joanna

I love animals and have had two dogs of my own. My first dog, Jack, was an outside lab/collie mix we got up the road from a farm. My dog, Katie, was a mini dachshund who lived to the ripe old age of 17. I inherited her when both of my grandparents died in 2001. She clung to me like white on rice and she comforted me when I was on kidney dialysis and after I received my transplant five years ago. She died in December of 2010, and I miss her dearly. Since then, I have been walking dogs and pet sitting professionally as a part-time employment. I recently had to let my buddy, Griffin, go as he had to move away with his owners. I miss him very much and miss our walks in the park and playtime together! Walking and caring for your pets would be my absolute privilege and would help enrich my soul as well!
