About Joanna

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, and genuine. I like working with kids because I enjoy seeing their little personalities grow and evolve. I consider it a joy and privilege to play a small part in their journey and development. I'm looking for a job that will support the volunteer work I do in the our local Diné community, because that was my reason for moving to Chinle. I started working with kids when I was 19, and have done so on and off since then. In my spare time, I like to hike, play guitar and sing. My skills include providing fun and age appropriate educational activities, understanding of social and emotional needs, creativity, kindness and patience.
