I have some experience caring for those with special needs and greatly enjoy this type of work. I have worked as a summer camp counselor for United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware in the summer of 2020 and assisted children with a variety of disabilities in performing everyday activities, such as eating and dressing, as well as regular camp activities, such as swimming, making crafts, and playing outside. I have also participated in several projects involving individuals with Down Syndrome, such as Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and Blue*Gold events at my high school. I find this work very rewarding and fun!
