About Jessica

I'm a positive, energetic, patient and love teaching! For over 9 years, I have worked in the public school system with students with special needs and those without. As a special educator, I successful managed 15-18 students per school year with their IEP and other needs within the school building. As a math teacher, I loved working with students who have special needs and those within the ESOL program. As a mathematics teacher for the last 3 years, I have built up an arsenal of knowledge and materials for multiple subjects. I generally run my tutoring sessions with a mini lesson prior to working on homework. I am looking for some extra money while doing what I love! I can help with: -high school and middle school math -executive functioning coaching -assistance with IEP/504 creation and/or questions about how the IDEA can assist you students -college application process (finding colleges, possible majors, things to include in a college essay, etc.) -test prep
