About Jessica

Teachers, friends and family always told me that I have a natural ability with kids. At family gatherings, I watched the cousins. When I was 13, I began babysitting for neighbors. Later I helped to watch my brother (who has diabetes, Celiac, and Down syndrome). As a sibling of a special needs child, I developed a great sense of compassion. That experience was a big part of my decision to become a teacher. In addition to sitting jobs, I have volunteered with Special Olympics and in the daycare of my church. I studied studio art & photography in high school and at Tyler School of Art at Temple University. So I really enjoy crafting with kids. I also played volleyball & softball so I like to get outdoors. I am comfortable with animals & have experience with rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchilla, cats & dogs. It would be my pleasure to work with your family.
