About Jessica

I am a mom to 4 kids ages 6, 7, 7, and 10 and have 10 years of teaching experience in project-based, progressive classrooms. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as a babysitter and full time nanny with children of all ages. My youngest kid is now in kindergarten and I am hoping to build a relationship with a family to support their childcare needs. I believe in facilitating a play-based environment where children are given the opportunity to explore and grow at their own pace in safe and engaging ways. I know the challenges that come with parenting and hope to be a resource to alleviate some of the stresses for a family. My availability is primarily while my children are in school from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. from January until June, but can also be available for date nights.
