I am a passionate and caring individual who is looking for part-time work caring for individuals with special needs. I've had 5 years total of experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, ages 8-21. I've work as a Youth Counselor at The Monarch Boarding Academy where I followed strict treatment plans, executed planned daily activities and schedules, which included activities such as TEACCH tasks, Vizzle, gross motor, vocational skills, and chores. I managed crisis situations with efficiency to ensure safety for staff and clients. I also worked as an Associate Teacher at The Monarch Center for Autism where I implemented behavior management plans as well as lesson plans and educational activities. Within the classroom, we met students where they were at and provided sensory integration as well as role modeled pro-social and self management skills. I am a wedding photographer full-time, but miss spending time and caring for individuals with special needs.
