About Jessica

I am a freelance writer and Doula who seeks to fill a role with a family who is also seeking and values connection- based care. Over the last 12 years whilst finishing school I have worked as a long- term nanny and personal/family assistant. Additionally, I am a mother to an 8-year-old daughter who I attachment parented in early years and home-schooled throughout the Pandemic. I am passionate about alternative education such as Waldorf/Montessori and Self-Directed learning and believe in gentle parenting/childcare and holistic approaches with children, specifically around connection strategies. I am able to provide attachment- based care if/when caring for infants and toddlers. I am deeply present, nurturing, engaged and emotionally aware and am able to offer this capacity in relation to the children and families I support. I love to help families simplify and get organized as well if that is desired. Additionally, I care very much about the arts and seek to inspire this in kids.
